The present study had as its main objective to determine if the Storytelling Workshop improves socio-emotional skills in 5-year-old students in an initial educational institution Cusco 2023. The methodology used had an applied type, quantitative approach, deductive method, quasi-experimental design and a positivist paradigm, the study sample was composed of 30 students who are 5-year-old boys and girls to whom a pre-test was applied. and post-test using an evaluation sheet. It was concluded that the Story Workshop does not significantly improve socio-emotional skills in 5-year-old students in an initial educational institution Cusco 2023, this according to the average score before the story workshop was 162.3 ± 36.920, after the story workshop stories the average score was 173,400 ± 16,572, a slight increase in the score was observed, also the student’s t test of means for related samples (paired), where sig. = 0.112 > 0.05 Ho is accepted.
