The research proposed to analyze the influence of environmental education on environmental conservation in the university context in the department of Huánuco. It took a descriptive-correlational approach to explore the relationship between environmental education and conservation practices. The sample was 268 students from a private university in the department of Huánuco. The results obtained indicated positive correlations, showing significant levels of association between environmental education and environmental conservation. Correlation values of 0.9804 were obtained for the relationship between education and conservation, 0.9499 for attitudes and conservation, 0.8547 for mental predisposition towards conservation, and 0.5958 for knowledge and environmental conservation. It was concluded that there is a substantial connection between environmental education and the promotion of conservation practices in the university environment.
